Tax havens provide a discreet way for the worst criminals to hide their wealth and proceeds of crime. This is aiding crime, money laundering, drug, child, human, and arms trafficking.
Furthermore, it is difficult to identify who is utilising tax havens as many countries, such as the Cayman Islands, have secrecy laws in place. This means that it is virtually impossible to track down those who are using tax havens to hide their wealth, leading to a culture of impunity, allowing wealthy criminals to escape justice. As a result, many argue that more needs to be done to ensure that tax havens are not abused in order to protect the public from those who seek to use them for illegal purposes

I liked your information on the tax havens, and the extent of the British offshore industry.
So many people miss this and think the sun set on the British Empire. Nope. It set on the British people, because the elites from the City of London created the tax havens structures offshore in the 1960s and out the wealth flowed - I always say the wealth is squirrelled away in tax havens, trusts, and foundations so you can see the real wealth and power anymore, as you say they've hidden it.
Another point I've been fond of using lately that goes hand in hand with your point about neo-feudalism is that all of the global institutions are in fact Neo-Monarchies, and designed that way.
